I am going to have the greatest Halloween costume of my entire life thus far.

Here are my three good things for today:

1.  I figured out what I'm going to be for Halloween!  I can't tell you, but I can give you a hint: think steampunk. I'm so excited!!*

2.  My cat Alice looked super cute this afternoon when I came home from work.  Waiting at the top of the stairs, front paws hooked over the lower railing. Adorable.

3.  The parents are out at a movie, so I'm enjoying some alone time at the house.  Good grief, I sound like a teenager.

*See, every year at the office there is a huge Halloween party. Everyone dresses up, and this year I'm going to look awesome. There will be goggles. Or a hat. Not sure which yet, but definitely one or the other.
